Who Am I ?
My first encounter with yoga dates back to 2002 in Montreal when I was taking dance classes with a teacher who used a few Hatha Yoga postures for warm-ups. To my younger self discovering her first pose, I want to say thank you for never wavering on a sometimes challenging but always fascinating journey. By following her heart and intuition that younger me became today’s me, dedicated to yoga and always evolving through the transformative power of this discipline.
In 2005, I took my first classes with Vanessa Brouillet in Marseille, and soon, Ashtanga became a part of my daily life. Practice after practice, it took its place and became my travel companion. The will, curiosity, introspection, and joy that make me unroll my mat respond to an intimate quest for self-discovery.
My path to teaching began in stages starting in 2009. I started teacher training with Caroline Bourlinguez and Annick Goueslain at Les Ailes du Yoga in Paris, including “Anatomy for Movement” with Blandine Calais Germain. I earned my 500-hour diploma recognized by Yoga Alliance with honors.
In 2011, I founded the first Ashtanga Yoga school in Nantes, inspired by the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of this discipline in Mysore, India. I aim to transmit this transformative method, supporting each student according to their aspirations.
My practice remains a part of my daily life. Continuing to be a student is essential for being a teacher and following the Parampara, the transmission of knowledge from master to student. In India, I trained with Sri V. Sheshadri (PAVY Shala) in Mysore. In the United States, I learned from Lisa Schrempp, authorized Level II by Pattabhi Jois, and Karen Kelly, authorized Level II by Sharath Jois. I was initiated into mantra chanting with Tara Mitra to nourish my broader yoga practice.
I completed the 8-week Mindfulness Meditation program with the University of Massachusetts.
Walking and nature have been in my DNA since childhood. The YogiWalkie method, which combines Yoga & Walking in nature, allows me to unite my three passions.
Personal development has always been a subject close to my heart. Observing, exploring, researching, and understanding who we are is, for me, a beautiful journey toward self-discovery. In this perspective, I trained as a professional coach with Coaching Ways, where I obtained a Level II RNCP certification. I support individuals through personal or professional life transitions and athletes.
I am a multi-passionate individual who places humans at the heart of my guidance.
